Exel's Customer Wins Top Place in Two Prestigious Awards

This year a record number of Exel's customers were winners and finalists in the Manufacturer of the Year and Best of British Manufacturing IT Awards.

Most notably Sheffield based Gripple Limited who has been an EFACS customer since 1995 with a turnover of £18million and 180 employees has beaten off competition from some of the giants of Manufacturing to secure the much coveted Manufacturer of the Year.

The Awards gala dinner was hosted by the BBC's John Humphreys, in what was a tense and exciting evening for the major players of UK industry, gathered together for the two day Manufacturer LIVE 2006 conference in Coventry in September.

The Manufacturing Computer Solutions' annual Best of British Manufacturing IT challenge is aimed at recognising the very best IT strategies and implementations in British manufacturing industry.  The 2006 Awards are about promoting the critical business value of IT across functions and departments, in underpinning and enabling superior business processes, competitiveness and profitability for UK plc.  Exel's customer Cash Bases Limited claimed the Manufacturing and Business Management Award.  Cash Bases Limited have been EFACS Users since 1994 and have recently upgraded to EFACS E/8.
