Coram Showers selects EFACS
Press Release, August 2004
Exel Computer Systems, the UK’s leading author of specialist software for manufacturers, has won the contract to supply their EFACS integrated business solution to Coram Showers at their headquarters in Bridgenorth, Shropshire.
Coram considered 12 different software providers, narrowing the field down to five after a visit to the CIM show. All five companies were visited and given opportunity to demonstrate their products before Coram finally selected EFACS from Exel.
“We checked out the products and also the companies’ technical knowledge, and were impressed by EFACS from the start,” commented Ian Spittle, Systems Manager at Coram. “The Exel team knew their product inside out and anticipated our need well.”
Coram is presently inputting data, testing and undergoing training, including workshops, and expect to go live by September. “The support and training facilities provided by Exel are excellent,” Ian continued, “All our functional heads and sales managers have attended intensive training sessions which are proving invaluable.”
With a turnover of approximately £10million and employing 100 staff Coram Showers manufacture shower trays that are distributed throughout the UK. Coram chose EFACS to improve visibility, particularly sales and customer information, and improve reporting facilities.
