Atantic Precision Select EFACS E/8 as Javelin Replacement
Atlantic Precision Engineering Ltd – a UK manufacturer offering comprehensive precision engineering of complex components used within advanced markets, such as Aerospace, Motorsport, Medical and OEM sectors, has selected Exel’s EFACS E/8 ERP solution to replace the companies’ Javelin system.
The driver for change being the recent announcement by Hexagon, the owners of Javelin, stating that support will cease for Javelin within a year. Whilst it is advisable for all business to run a supported business management system, for those in mission critical industries requiring complete tracking functionality, such as, Aerospace & Automotive, ISO accreditation is of the upmost importance, and a supported system that meets the requirements for ISO accreditation is a necessity.
EFACS E/8 is an easy choice to make when looking to replace Javelin – EFACS E/8 has been in constant development in the UK since 1985, Exel has a strong history in the Aerospace and Automotive sectors and can provide full tracking for parts and assemblies, meeting the requirements for ISO accreditation.
To understand the reasons Atlantic chose EFACS E/8, we talked to Tim Broadhurst, General Manager at Atlantic.
“We are pleased to have selected EFACS E/8 as our next generation platform – Exel is known to our wider group and has built a reputation of being easy to use and suits our way of working. To date, the team have been engaging in understanding our needs and building a robust training and implementation plan and we look forward to beginning to use the system.”
