Made Smarter was created following an industry-led review of how UK manufacturing industries can prosper through digital tools and innovation, it is designed to help you understand new industrial technologies and can provide funding for the purchase and implementation of a new, modern ERP solution.
Initially piloted in the North West in 2019, the success of the support provided to manufacturers ensured further funding was made available and the geographic reach of the programme could be extended.
The recent extension of the Made Smarter programme is designed to support manufacturers, engineers, makers and creators with facilities or operations in the North East, North West, West Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber to grow through adoption of new technologies.
Exel has experience of working with Made Smarter throughout the pilot stage and several of our customers have obtained funding for their ERP projects. The scheme offers up to 50% match-funding and can include new business software or hardware.
