Exel Sponsored Cheerleading Team head to Florida

Exel continues to support youth development and are proud to do so through sponsorship of the Pixies Cheer Cheerleading club.

3 teams from Pixies Cheer, based in Stockport, head to the USA to compete in the Allstar Worlds Championship, and the IASF World Cheerleading Championship – both held in Orlando, Florida.

The group traveling to Florida will comprise 4 coaches and 35 athletes, making 3 teams:

Team Rose – competing at Level 1 at Allstar Worlds Championship (ASW)

Team Jet – competing at Level 4.2 at Allstar Worlds Championship (ASW)

Team Obsidian – competing at Under 18 Level 5 (U18L5) at IASF World Cheerleading Championship (IASF)

It is the aim of Pixies Cheer to help all their athletes achieve their full potential, within family fun orientated training sessions. They strive to teach strong technique in all areas of the sport. They also help to develop skills that can be carried on throughout life like commitment, dedication, sportsmanship, responsibility and time management. With a positive environment Pixies Cheer help their athletes to have a positive self-image, confidence and respect for themselves and others, and develop long-term friendships.
